Located off the main Burniston Road, it boasts an integral games room with pool table. Beech Court offers a true holiday experience and the friendly owners have catered for every need. It provides a modern contemporary feel throughout, is very spacious and yet warm, cosy and inviting. Perfect for that long-awaited family get together or special occasion with friends. A short stroll leads to two village pubs serving excellent English cuisine, a children’s park, village post office and garage both selling everyday provisions. There is a tea room nearby. Burniston is an excellent place for walkers and cyclists - the old railway line stretching from Scarborough to Whitby is a 5 minute walk. Ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Heritage Coast of East Yorkshire. Scarborough’s promenade on South Bay is lined with inns, tea rooms, restaurants and gift shops along a stretch of award winning sandy beach and is home to Peasholm Park’s stunning gardens, boating lakes and summer concerts. The bays are overlooked by the 12th-century castle ruins and St Mary’s Church. Sea and fishing trips can be enjoyed from the harbour. A short drive north are Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby. Board Hogwarts Express to traverse the stunning Esk Valley to the Heartbeat village of Goathland and Grosmont or drive across the moors discovering the quaint villages deep in the valleys. Go Ape in Dalby Forest, home to world cycling events and music festivals, with picnic areas and cycle tracks in abundance. To the south are the coastal towns of Filey, Bridlington and the walled city of York with its museums, art galleries, canal trips and wonderful array of shops. Shops 100 yards, pub 300 yards.
